Exhibition of “The Carousel” at the Galleria Grande, Reggia di Venaria has been extended until 25 July 2021
“La giostra di Nina” (The Carousel) extends his stay at the Reggia di Venaria. The great carousel with the music of Ludovico Einaudi will remain in the wonderful Galleria Grande until Sunday 25 July.
The artist Valerio Berruti commented on social media: “Many of you asked me and now I can finally reveal that La giostra di Nina will stay a little bit longet at the Reggia di Venaria.
Thank you for your continuous signs of appreciation for a work that means a lot to me. The work “The Carousel” represents freedom. Freedom conquered by Nina, the protagonist of the short film, evoked by the birds flying in a circle aboard the big carousel. In these months of limitations and deprivations, “The Carousel” has often been cited as a symbol of rebirth and restart. The closing of the exhibition at the Reggia di Venaria is scheduled for 25 July, in the meantime I am planning the flight of the sparrows abroad”.
